Why does my body battery not update?

BodyEnergy needs heart rate data from your Apple Watch or compatible wearable. Make sure your watch is worn and HealthKit/Health Connect permissions are granted. After a cold start, data may take up to 30 seconds to sync from your watch.

How accurate is the body battery score?

The body battery uses your heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, sleep data, and activity to estimate your energy level. Accuracy improves over time as the app builds your personal baseline (28–365 days of data). It is a wellness estimate, not a medical measurement.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

An Apple Watch (or Wear OS watch on Android) is strongly recommended. The app can work with iPhone-only data (steps, sleep from phone sensors), but heart rate and HRV data from a wearable provide significantly better results.

Is my health data sent to any server?

No. All health data stays on your device. BodyEnergy processes everything locally. Only anonymous usage statistics (screen views, feature usage) are sent to Firebase Analytics for app improvement. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I reset or delete my data?

Uninstalling BodyEnergy will delete all locally stored data. You can also revoke HealthKit/Health Connect permissions in your device Settings at any time.

The app shows "No sleep data" — what should I do?

Sleep data requires wearing your Apple Watch to bed. If you don't wear your watch at night, you can enable Sleep Fallback in Settings (Off/Fixed/Smart modes) to estimate energy recovery on nights without data.

What languages are supported?

BodyEnergy is fully localized in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian. You can change the language in Settings > Regional Settings.

Report a Bug

If you encounter a crash or unexpected behavior, use the in-app bug report (Settings > Feedback & Support > Bug) which automatically includes your device info and app version for faster diagnosis.
